Belka (Белка, literally, „squirrel”, or alternatively „Whitey”) and Strelka (Стрелка, „little arrow”) are dogs that spent a day in space aboard Korabl-Sputnik 2 (Sputnik 5) on 19 August 1960 before safely returning to Earth. They are the first higher living organisms to survive an orbital trip in outer space (Wikipedia).

A space rocket for these two dogs was created by the famous Ukrainian engineer Serhii Korolev.

We thought that if dogs created a rocket by themselves, it would look exactly like our lamp.

The lampshade made of artificial fur makes this lamp unique. We put the fur on thin transparent plastic. This technology eliminates the accumulation of dust in the lampshade material and provides ample opportunities for lamp maintenance. In case of contamination, the fur can be washed and cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
By the way, in the kit for the wall lamp, we give a small comb for taking care of the spaceship.

The light source of this pendant lamp is a high-quality LED strip, which is included in the UL list and has a 3-year or 15000-hour official warranty. LEDs hardly heat up and have a low operating voltage. This allows them to be used safely in children’s lamps.

The lamp cover is made of acrylic plastic by thermal molding.
Acrylic is a thermoplastic polymer that is widely used in the manufacture of children’s products.

The frame of the lamp is made of quality birch plywood and covered with safe oil-wax OSMO (Germany).

We perform work on forming, polishing and assembling lamps.
All technological production processes are carried out by us personally on our own equipment.
